A Few Things To Consider...
Advice for New Photography Class
-EXPERIMENT.
-Don't stop at the required amount, keep trying if you have an idea or want to perfect your skill.
-Keep sketching ideas.
-UTILIZE YOUR SKETCHBOOK! This will help you on your photo journey and will save you time.
-Don't only write technical things in your sketchbook, reflect and respond to what you have considered or created.
-Date entries in your sketchbook.
-Don't forget to take off the lens cap on the HOLGA Camera.
-For the Depth of Field Project, make sure that one is all in focus, and the other only one thing is in focus.
-You may be in the photo lab for a very long time; bring snacks and coffee.
-If your paper is turning gray or icky colors, change the chemicals.
-When you shoot a roll of film, even if is a test shoot, make sure everything is in focus and it is of things you could potentially use for your final project.
-Don't throw away your trials or extra prints! Leticia wants to see your progress!
-Yes, this class is heavily based on your growth and progress. Therefore, you must show effort throughout the whole project, not just the end product.
