Treasure Hunt
Installation- Treasure Hunt
Technique:
To create these images, I shot one roll of 35mm film. I moved the tripod back 19 inches each time to make even distances between photographs. Then I enlarged each image, making sure there was a progression from blurry gray to clear high contrast. Then I cut each image smaller than the one before to create a "treasure hunt" effect. Then I hung the images with fishing line from the ceiling to give the illusion the images were floating. The images are lower than average height to encourage people to pick them up and move then to fit the scene and find the treasure.
