"Where Do You Fit In?"

Technique:
These images consist of two negatives that were cut in half and placed next to each other under the enlarger. Each side was exposed and focused the same. Each image has a black line down the middle to show the separation of negative and define the differences between both sides of the outfits.
Concept: This series repsents how pepoe give certain clothing outfits steruotpes depeding on how much skin someone is showing. I incldued both exptreme for key areas that are targtred for judgement to dispaly this steryping.

(How I would improve or change my work)
Series:
I would burn in Joe's face to make it darker. I would also reshoot with no patterned clothes, or all patterned clothes to see if one was more successful than the other. I would also make sure to never use the squeegee tool for film because it scratched my negatives. I would also look into words more before I decide if they are socially acceptable or not.
